A Birthday and a Wedding renewal

... I may not have thought I'd be a blushing bride at 40 years of age... but in addition to celebrating this fourth turn of a decade, I renewed my wedding vows with the love of my life, my husband of 18 years, surrounded by friends and family... and the residents from the Town of Smoky Lake. What started out as 'just another birthday party' ended up being an event I won't soon forget. From golf to zip-lining, from birthday cake and food to the feeling of celebrity status in small town Alberta, aside from the mosquitoes, the day was picture perfect. Thank you Smoky Lake, Mayor and Council, the Smoky Lake Signal, Leesa and Brian Jones, and everyone else who lent a hand in the planning, execution, or enjoyment of the festivities. You will not soon be forgotten. My family and I look forward to visiting you again!
